2008 Awards luncheon --"The Devil Made Me Do It"
Long Hill Garden Club received several awards at
The Federated Awards Luncheon
· Pauline B. Tyler Award for excellence in promoting conservation for the Twin Brooks Native Planting Project
Ruth Mohr accepted the bowl and certificate on behalf of the club, for our project at Twin Brooks.
· Certificate of Individual Achievement to Ruth Mohr for her work in Conservation. Ruth has worked hard both at Twin Brooks and at the new Trumbull Arts and Nature Center.
· Second place for publicity press books in the Large Club category. Lois Pfrommer has done an excellent job persistently promoting our Long Hill Garden Club in the various regional newspapers with photographs and textual information.
· Certificate of Achievement for Membership Brochure
· Second place for yearbook in Class V (70 -99) members
